Dr. Merkle serves as a Diplomat on the American Chiropractic Board of Nutrition, a Diplomat on the Chiropractic Board of Internists, and is also a member of The International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists.
On August 7, 2007 the United States of America granted Science Based Nutrition™ a patent for a 'System and Method For Medical Diagnosis', the computerized analysis system that is used in every Science Based Nutrition™ report.
